Australia's Marcus Stoinis ascended to the top of the ICC T20 all-rounder rankings on Wednesday, displacing Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi.

Stoinis' exceptional performance, which included taking six wickets and making crucial contributions with the bat, has propelled Australia into the Super Eights of the ongoing T20 World Cup.

Stoinis' rise to the premier all-rounder position saw Nabi drop three places. Sri Lanka's skipper Wanindu Hasaranga and Bangladesh's veteran Shakib Al Hasan climbed to the second and third spots, respectively.

West Indies' bowlers have been outstanding in the tournament, with their rankings reflecting their success. Left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein surged six places to second in the bowlers' list, led by England's Adil Rashid. Alzarri Joseph also moved up six places to 11th, while teammate Gudakesh Motie advanced 16 spots to 13th.

India's Suryakumar Yadav maintained his position as the top-ranked batter in T20 cricket. Phil Salt, Babar Azam, and Mohammad Rizwan remain static in second, third, and fourth places, respectively.

Australian opener Travis Head climbed five places to fifth, while West Indies' wicketkeeper-batter Nicholas Pooran jumped eight places to 11th. West Indies' Sherfane Rutherford made a significant leap of 43 places to 42nd.
