Posters surfaced against actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha. The poster suggests that the sitting MP from Asansol, who is contesting elections on TMC’s ticket, has been missing for a long time. If anyone finds a trace of him then one should inform about his whereabouts.
Posters surfaced in Andal village of Paschim Bardhaman district of West Bengal on Tuesday.
This has led to a tussle between the supporters of Trinamool Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party. The TMC claims that the poster has been put up by the workers of the BJP at the behest of their leaders.
Sources from the BJP claim that Sinha has been missing from the Lok Sabha constituency after he won the by-polls of 2022 from Asansol by a comfortable margin.
Conversely, TMC leaders have reduced the move to petty politics. They have claimed that the BJP is afraid of losing from Asansol, hence, they are resorting to such petty moves.
Taking a jibe at the saffron party’s candidate from Asansol SS Ahluwalia, the TMC has claimed that the trace of the candidate is not to be found anywhere in the state, let alone the constituency he has been fielded from.
