In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Himachal Pradesh government has ordered the transfer and posting of 17 IAS officers and five HAS officers, including three deputy commissioners.
As per the new orders, Dr. Nipun Jindal has been appointed as the Director of Digital Technologies and Governance, with the additional responsibility of Managing Director, Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC), Shimla. Abid Hussain Sadiq will now serve as the Managing Director of Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd, Shimla, relieving Rakesh Kumar Prajapati of the additional charge.
Rohit Jamwal has been posted as the Director of Ayush, while Pradeep Kumar Thakur has been appointed as the Mission Director of the National Health Mission.
In a significant administrative shift, three deputy commissioners have been transferred: Priyanka Verma will take charge as Deputy Commissioner of Sirmaur, Kiran Bhadana has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Lahaul and Spiti, and Rahul Kumar will serve as Deputy Commissioner of Bilaspur.
Additionally, Rima Kashyap has been posted as the Director of Language Art and Culture. Sumit Khimta will head the Department of Empowerment of Scheduled Castes (SCS), Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Minorities, and Specially-Abled. Zaffar Iqbal has been appointed as the Managing Director of Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Ltd in Dharamsala, while Pankaj Lalit will take over as the Director of Women and Child Development.
