Two suspected members of a Babbar Khalsa International (BKI)-linked terror module were seriously injured in a police encounter near the Ladowal Toll Plaza in Ludhiana.
Confirming this, Ludhiana Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma said, “We had cracked a terror module and nabbed three persons earlier. There was an input on Thursday that two Babbar Khalsa International linked terrorists who were working on the directions of the ISI were in Ludhiana.”
He said that acting on a tip-off, the police laid a trap and intercepted the two suspects, who were seriously injured in the encounter. According to reports, the suspects were assigned the task of collecting grenades and lobbing them at designated locations.
