2 killed as vehicle plunges into gorge in Shimla

Two people died after a Bolero Camper (HP 08A 2578) fell into a deep gorge in Nerwa Tehsil of Shimla district.

 

The deceased were identified as 28-year-old Prajwal Tangraik, son of late Om Prakash Tangraik, and 27-year-old Manoj Banaik, son of Kedar Singh. Both were residents of Diyalari village in Nerwa, Shimla.

 

According to reports, the accident happened on the Diyalari road near Nerwa when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The Bolero plunged into the gorge, killing both men on the spot.

 

Local residents noticed the accident and immediately informed the police. A police team rushed to the site and, with the help of villagers, recovered the bodies from the spot.

 

The bodies were later taken to Civil Hospital, Nerwa, for post-mortem.
