The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Haryana unit, has released its third list of candidates for the upcoming Municipal Corporation polls. The party has named Rajesh Kumar as its Mayor candidate for Panchkula.
Sharing the announcement on X, AAP Haryana president Sushil Gupta said the party has finalised the third list for the civic polls and declared Rajesh Kumar as the Panchkula Mayor nominee. He extended his best wishes to all the announced candidates
AAP has also announced Satyaveer Singh as its Mayor candidate for the Sonipat Municipal Corporation. Gupta congratulated the candidates and said the people of Haryana are looking for political change.
In another post, Gupta said, “Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to the Mayor candidate of Sonipat Municipal Corporation and the declared candidates of Sonipat and Ambala. The public is fed up with BJP-Congress politics, and now Haryana is demanding change.”
As per the Election Commission of India, polling for the Municipal Corporation elections in Ambala, Panchkula and Sonipat will be held on May 10 from 8 am to 6 pm. The counting of votes will take place on May 13 from 8 am under the supervision of the respective Deputy Commissioners.
