Aditya Devi Lal Chautala has been appointed as the leader of the Indian National Lok Dal’s legislative group in the Haryana assembly.
He was appointed by the party’s general secretary Abhay Singh Chautala with Arjun Chautala as the chief.
The decision was made after having the nod of the national president of the party, Om Prakash Chautala.
Earlier, in the recent assembly session on Friday, newly elected INLD legislators Aditya and Arjun administered oath of office by the Pro-tem Speaker.
In his address to the assembly, Aditya Devi Lal applauded the appointment of the newly elected speaker and Deputy Speaker. He also acknowledged the ties shared with INLD and connections to Devi Lal and Om Prakash Chautala.
The current state Assembly session welcomes 40 new legislators, including Aditya Devi Lal and Arjun Chautala.
