The Haryana School Education Board finds itself embroiled in yet another controversy as reports emerge of a Class 10 Mathematics board examination paper leak.

This latest breach comes merely a day after the Class 12 English examination paper was also compromised, intensifying concerns over the efficacy of the state’s examination security apparatus.

The Mathematics paper was reportedly leaked from an examination centre in Nuh within 15 minutes of the commencement of the examination at 12:30 p.m. Images of the question paper swiftly circulated on various digital platforms, triggering widespread outrage among students, parents, and education authorities.

Eyewitness accounts and video footage from outside the examination centre at LDM Public School, Punhana, depict a chaotic scene, with students' relatives seen scaling walls and allegedly attempting to pass notes into the centre.

The visuals have raised serious questions regarding the effectiveness of security measures in place.

The leak has prompted a strong reaction from education officials, with many calling for an immediate review of security protocols and strict punitive action against those responsible.

The Class 10 board examinations in Haryana involve 2,93,395 students across 1,431 centres. To counter malpractice, the Education Department had deployed 219 flying squads for surveillance.

However, the recurring paper leaks have cast doubts over the credibility of the examination system, despite these precautionary measures.

The issue has also sparked demands for a forensic investigation into the breaches, with calls for stronger digital surveillance, biometric verification, and stricter punishments for those involved in examination malpractice.

This incident follows the leakage of the Class 12 English board examination paper, which led to the cancellation of the exam at a particular centre.

Law enforcement authorities have since arrested multiple individuals in connection with the breach, and the investigation remains ongoing.
