In a novel fusion of spirituality and technology, Hyderabad-based ‘SUPER AI Academy’ organised what is being billed as the world’s first AI Mahashivaratri – Digital Naada Yagna, bringing together more than 500 participants from across the globe to create over 5,700 Telugu devotional songs in praise of Lord Shiva.

The large-scale digital devotional initiative was conducted via a Zoom webinar platform, where participants simultaneously composed Shiva-themed songs using structured ChatGPT Custom GPT workflows for lyrical creation and AI-powered music generation tools for composition.

The initiative was positioned as a collective spiritual offering dedicated to Lord Shiva on the occasion of Mahashivaratri.

Organisers described the event as a “Digital Naada Yagna,” symbolising a modern-day devotional sound offering powered by artificial intelligence. Participants created songs dedicated to various divine forms of Mahadev, including Shiva, Rudra, Nataraja, Ardhanarishwara, Lingodbhava, and energetic Shiva Tandava renditions.

Notably, all the songs generated during the initiative were in Telugu, reflecting a strong emphasis on regional language devotion and cultural expression.

More than 5,700 devotional songs were documented during the structured 50-minute creation window. According to the organisers, the session followed a disciplined format with guided instructions, synchronised timing, and real-time coordination to ensure seamless execution across hundreds of participants joining from India and abroad.

As part of the continuation of the Digital Naada Yagna, the organisers announced that 108 curated devotional songs selected from over 5,700 creations will be broadcast in a special three-hour Zoom session from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am for members of the SUPER AI Community. The session has been planned as a symbolic collective listening experience to honour the devotional offering.

The initiative was conceptualised by Nikeelu Gunda, Founder of SUPER AI Academy, who stated that the objective was to demonstrate how artificial intelligence can be used constructively in cultural and spiritual contexts and AI In devotion. He emphasised that AI should function as an empowering tool that amplifies human intention rather than replacing tradition.

With participation spanning continents and over 5,700 Telugu devotional songs created in under an hour, AI Mahashivaratri 2026 marks a significant milestone in the convergence of artificial intelligence, regional language expression, and collective spiritual engagement.
