Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with Chief Ministers of Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh is set to start the party's election campaign in Jharkhand on September 21.
The Union Minister along with CMs of four States will flag off BJP's ‘Parivartan Yatra’ from the Dumka district of Jharkhand on September 21, which is being considered a major poll campaign of the party in poll-bound State.
The State BJP is set to hold six ‘Parivartan Yatras’, in which the party will raise issues like corruption, hollow promises of the current government, poor law and order, crimes against women, Bangladeshi infiltration and changing demography of the State before the people.
An important meeting on the preparations of the Yatras was organized by the State BJP unit in Ranchi on Tuesday. Several MPs, MLAs as well as senior party officials were present at the meeting.
Assembly election in-charge and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union Minister Annapurna Devi, State President Babulal Marandi, Organization General Secretary Karmaveer Singh, Regional Organization General Secretary Nagendra Tripathi and Leader of Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri were present among the leaders present in the meeting.
