BJP leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan on Tuesday said the party’s “Badlav Rally” to be addressed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on March 14 at Killi Chahal village in Moga district will mark a decisive moment in Punjab’s political landscape.

Speaking to mediapersons, Grewal said people across the state are eagerly awaiting the rally, which he said will reflect the demand for honest governance, strong law and order and an end to corruption and “mafia raj”.

He said that under the leadership of Amit Shah, the Bharatiya Janata Party has emerged as a strong alternative for people seeking transparency and accountability in governance. According to him, the rally is expected to generate political momentum and encourage greater public participation in the party’s campaign in the state.

Grewal said he and his associates have been touring various parts of Ludhiana district over the past two weeks to mobilise support for the rally. A series of meetings have been held with party leaders, workers and local residents in several Assembly constituencies to ensure maximum participation in the event.

He said the meetings have been organised in constituencies including Khanna, Samrala, Sahnewal, Ludhiana East, Ludhiana South, Atam Nagar, Ludhiana Central, Ludhiana West, Ludhiana North, Gill, Payal, Dakha, Raikot and Jagraon, covering multiple villages and urban localities across the district.

According to Grewal, the meetings witnessed strong participation from party workers and supporters, including youth, farmers and traders, who expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming rally.

He said the rally would not only be a political event but also reflect the aspirations of people seeking development, stability and transparent governance in the state. Grewal expressed confidence that the rally in Moga would attract a large gathering and energise the party’s support base across Punjab.
