Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated a mission aimed at achieving pothole-free roads across the state, with an investment of Rs 861 crore.
Beginning the state-wide initiative in Chintalagorlivanipalem village, located in Anakapalli district, the Chief Minister took a hands-on approach by personally repairing a pothole using mortar.
He was accompanied by Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha along with other officials and leaders during the launch event.
Demonstrating his commitment, Naidu oversaw the fixing of a large pothole, where material was dumped onto it from a truck.
In a bid to motivate repair efforts, he also picked up a spade to level the pothole, further highlighting the government’s dedication to improving road conditions in the southern state.
