Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to begin a two-day campaign tour in Tamil Nadu from Monday as part of the National Democratic Alliance’s intensified outreach ahead of the April 23 Assembly elections.
The visit is aimed at energising party workers, increasing voter engagement and reinforcing the NDA’s development-focused narrative across key constituencies.
“Naidu will undertake a two-day campaign tour in Tamil Nadu on Monday and Tuesday as part of the NDA’s expanded outreach ahead of the state elections,” a source in the Andhra Pradesh government said. The alliance is expected to highlight governance, economic growth and inclusive development while seeking to expand its presence in Tamil Nadu.

On the first day, Naidu will campaign in Coimbatore, Thalli, Avadi and Anna Nagar constituencies, according to an official release issued on Monday. He is scheduled to leave Vijayawada and arrive in Coimbatore around 1 pm to attend a public meeting, followed by campaigning in Thalli at about 3 pm.
Later in the evening, the Telugu Desam Party chief will address an election gathering in Avadi around 6 pm and take part in a roadshow in Anna Nagar at approximately 7:30 pm. Naidu will stay overnight in Chennai after the day’s engagements.
On the second day, he will travel to Madurai and then to Sattur, where he is expected to meet community representatives and participate in a campaign event. The tour will conclude on April 21, with his return following the two-day outreach programme.
Highlighting the significance of the visit, Naidu is likely to outline the NDA’s vision for Tamil Nadu within the broader context of India’s growth trajectory, with a focus on governance and development.
