Chief of the Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi visited the Likabali military station in Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday, reviewing the combat readiness of the troops. The Indian Army Chief was then also briefed on the current internal security situation of the region.
“General Upendra Dwivedi, COAS, visited Likabali Military Station in Arunachal Pradesh on 17 September 2025 to review the combat readiness of the formation. He was briefed on operational matters, the internal security situation in the region, technology infusion, integration with other security agencies, and nation-building initiatives undertaken by the formation,” the Indian Army wrote in a post on its official X account.
“COAS commended all ranks for their dedication and unwavering commitment to duty in one of the most challenging terrains. He also appreciated the formation’s innovative efforts in integrating next-generation equipment into the security framework,” it further added.
