In a tragic turn of events, a disc jockey (DJ) hailing from West Bengal met a fatal end within the confines of a bar in Ranchi, Jharkhand's capital. The incident, captured on camera, unfolded in the early hours of Monday outside the Radisson Blu hotel.
Reports suggest that the altercation stemmed from a dispute between inebriated individuals, divided into two factions, over alleged misconduct towards female patrons.
Subsequently, reinforcements were called, escalating the confrontation into a violent clash, culminating in gunfire.

The victim, identified as DJ Sandeep, lost his life amidst the chaos at the "Xtream Sports Bar." Ranchi's Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Chandan Kumar Mishra confirmed the skirmish between bar personnel and customers, with the situation escalating upon the arrival of external parties, resulting in Sandeep's demise due to gunfire.
Law enforcement authorities swiftly sprang into action, procuring CCTV footage and initiating forensic examinations at the crime scene to gather crucial evidence.
Despite ongoing investigations and search operations, culprits remained at large as of Monday morning, prompting continued efforts to apprehend them.
SSP Sinha acknowledged the ongoing probe, highlighting the possibility of a disgruntled customer perpetrating the heinous act.
With the investigation underway, authorities remain vigilant in their pursuit of justice for the slain DJ.
