The blood samples of the guests of a rave party busted at a farmhouse have been collected and sent to laboratory for testing, Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B Dayananda said on Tuesday.

The Anti-Narcotics division of Karnataka Police arrested five people, including three drug peddlers, after raiding a rave party organised at a farmhouse on the outskirts of Bengaluru, said officials on Monday.

The police said the rave party was titled ‘Sunset to Sunrise Victory’, which involved techies, Telugu actors, models and youngsters. The party was held in the GM Farmhouse in the Singena Agrahara area near Electronics City.

Over 100 people attended the party and of them, five have been arrested.

The police have recovered 15.56 grams of MDMA drugs, 6.2 grams of cocaine, 6 grams of hydro ganja, five mobiles and two vehicles from the accused persons.

The Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) and various sections under the IPC were slapped against the five accused.

Various types of drugs were also seized, he said adding several attendees were from outside Karnataka.

Briefing reporters, Dayananda said, “On the night of May 19, Bengaluru Police’s CCB, based on specific information, raided a farmhouse at Electronic City. Around 100 people were at the event where drugs and narcotic substances were found. A case has been registered... Five people have been arrested. The blood samples of attendees have been collected. We are awaiting the results. Most of them were from outside. There were no elected representatives. One actress was present there,” the top police official added.

The organiser of the party has, reportedly, flown over 25 people from Andhra Pradesh to Bengaluru for the event. The cops found a pass belonging to an Andhra Pradesh MLA in one of the cars parked at the farmhouse, sources claimed.

Preliminary investigations revealed that an individual identified as Hari, from Hyderabad organised the party under the pretext of a birthday celebration.

Meanwhile, Telugu actress Hema refuted the reports in a section of media that she was at the party. She said she was at her farmhouse in Andhra Pradesh and “happily spending time”.
