RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has called for setting aside mutual differences to ensure the unity of Hindu society and the country. He was addressing RSS volunteers at Tipper village in Hamirpur district on Monday night. Bhagwat is currently on a four-day visit to attend the North Zone Development Camp of RSS workers.
Bhagwat stressed that it was the collective responsibility of the people to protect Hindu religion, society, and culture. While addressing the volunteers, he further said, "The Sangh is about to complete 100 years of its establishment. Hundred years ago, the idea of the Sangh was not recognised. It was neglected, yet it continued to work. Now the idea of the Sangh is recognised by society, the society works actively."
“For the preservation of our cultural identity, it is essential to rise above differences and remain united. Only then can the Hindu society and the country stay strong and cohesive,” he said. He added that it is our duty to protect Hindu religion, Hindu society and Hindu culture.
A total of 212 volunteers are taking part in the ongoing Karyakarta Vikas Varg-Pratham camp, which began on May 30. The concluding ceremony is scheduled for June 19, according to an RSS spokesperson.
