Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan announced on Monday that he will visit Prayagraj to attend the Maha Kumbh 2025 and stay there for three days.
The governor extended his Makar Sankranti greetings to the people of Bihar and the nation, sharing that he has planned a feast of ‘dahi chuda’ (curd and flattened rice) at the Raj Bhavan on Tuesday to mark the occasion.
Speaking to reporters at an event organised by Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Vijay Kumar Sinha, Khan said, "I have been invited to the Maha Kumbh by three respected religious leaders. I will spend three days at the event."
When asked about the ongoing BPSC controversy, the governor declined to comment, stating, "This is not the right occasion. Let us discuss it another day."
The 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE), conducted on December 13, has faced allegations of a question paper leak. While the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has denied the claims, they have ordered a re-exam for over 12,000 candidates.
