Bollywood actor Salman Khan has once again received a chilling threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanding ₹5 crore to resolve their long-standing feud.
The warning, sent to Mumbai Traffic Police, stated that Khan would face a fate worse than that of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique if he did not comply.
“If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and wants to end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay ₹5 crore. Do not take this lightly, otherwise Salman Khan's condition will be worse than Baba Siddique,” the message read.
Baba Siddique, a 66-year-old NCP leader and close friend of Salman, was shot dead on October 12 outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra.
The police have arrested four suspects in connection with his murder, with Shubham Lonkar, believed to be the key conspirator, claiming on social media that the Bishnoi gang was responsible.
Salman Khan has faced repeated threats from the gang over the past months. The conflict stems from the alleged 1998 hunting of two blackbucks by Salman, a sacred animal to the Bishnoi community.
Lawrence Bishnoi has long vowed revenge on the actor.
This latest threat follows an April 14 incident when two shooters fired outside Khan’s Bandra residence.
Police are investigating the ongoing threats against the actor, whose security has been heightened in response to the recent developments.
