National BJP leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, requesting him to ask medical experts and scientists to come up with a cure for drug abuse on the lines of the Covid vaccines developed by Indian scientists, to wean Punjab’s youth away from drugs.

 

Demanding a check on smuggling of deadly drugs like ‘chitta’ from Pakistan, Grewal said people should support the police action against drug smugglers and peddlers, but if any policeman is found to be involved with them, strict action should be taken against him.
