The opposition Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday gave a notice for Privilege motion against Chief Minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for misleading the House with false declarations.
Just before the budget session of the State Assembly resumed in the morning, the BJp.legisltors led by Leader of Opposition, Jai Ram Thakur met Speaker of the Assembly, Kuldeep Singh Pathania and submitted a notice for Privilege motion against the CM for unfilled announcements in previous three budgets and false declarations.
" We feel that the CM Sukhu has been misleading the House, so we have moved a notice of privilege motion against him. We have handed over the papers to the Speaker," said Jai Ram Thakur, with BJP MLAs fully charged with aggression, while entering the Assembly after giving this notice to the Speaker.
The session is likely to raise political tempers in HP, with state government facing the heat of RDG withdrawal ahead of budget presentation and BJP all geared up with issues against ' Vyavastha Parivartan' strategy of Congress government.
