President of BJP national party Nitin Nabin is planning a visit to the state of Uttar Pradesh on July 4 and 5 in order to check whether his party is ready for the Assembly elections scheduled for the year 2027. In the two days, Nabin will be meeting with many prominent leaders of BJP. These meetings are going to be dominated by issues related to booth level management, organisational growth, reaching out to voters, coordination among various party bodies, and laying down a definite agenda for campaigning in the 2027 assembly elections. Nabin is also anticipated to get first-hand information about the prevailing political environment and preparedness of the ground level politics. This visit forms an integral part of the BJP’s continuing efforts to refine its strategy for the upcoming state elections.
Prior to his arrival in Uttar Pradesh, Nabin has been on a three-day tour of Telangana aimed at bolstering the party's presence in the region. He received an enthusiastic welcome from BJP leaders and party workers in the Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district on Monday whilst travelling to the Warangal district.
During his tour, Nabin announced that the BJP would launch a state-wide agitation against the Congress government in Telangana, alleging that the ruling party had failed to deliver on the promises it made to the public ahead of the recent Assembly elections. Addressing the Telangana BJP Executive Meeting at the Rock Convention Centre in the Medchal-Malkajgiri district, Nabin called upon party workers to intensify their opposition and bring local grievances to the forefront in every village and town across the state. He stressed that the duty of BJP is to be on the side of people of Telangana, working for the cause of farmers, youth, women, and workers, while at the same time pointing out flaws in the existing government.
