Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today charged the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha of copying BJP’s ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’ and promised Rs 2100 every month to women in Jharkhand if the BJP comes to power.
Attacking the JMM government on Jharkhand's ‘Mainiya Samman Yojana’ at Netarhat in Jharkhand, Chouhan said that it was BJP’s project and Hemant Soren is merely copying the ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’ before the elections.
He said, “Our manifesto is about to come. It is certain that in Haryana, just like we distributed the manifesto we will deposit Rs 2100 in the accounts of sisters. In Jammu and Kashmir, we said that we would deposit money, similarly in Jharkhand also we will deposit the same amount in the accounts of sisters which we have announced in Haryana.”
Chouhan said that 5 years ago in the manifesto, JMM had promised to give Rs 2000 for stove expenses to women. For 4 years and 10 months, the stove expenses were not given, now that the elections were near, he thought that it would not be spent from his pocket, so he started drawing one thousand rupees for each from the treasury.
The BJP leader said that Hemant Soren's government had promised to give 5 lakh jobs but failed to deliver. Examinations were cancelled 17 times due to a paper leak. The leader also said that JMM had become Paper Leak Morcha and not Jharkhand Mukti Morcha.
“As soon as the BJP government is formed in Jharkhand, 2 lakh 87 thousand 400 posts will be filled in the first Cabinet. When the BJP government was here, work was done but now JMM and Congress have destroyed and ruined Jharkhand,” he said.
Chouhan said that people of the ruling party, and people of the alliance are openly looting Jharkhand and the public is badly troubled. To change the fate and picture of Jharkhand, a change of power is necessary here. Parivartan Yatra will bring change, which is certain and BJP will come here now, he added.
