National BJP leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal has expressed deep outrage and distress over an audio clip that has recently gone viral on social media, allegedly featuring a senior Punjab cadre IPS officer posted in Ludhiana engaged in a conversation that suggests a negotiation with prostitutes.
Grewal stated that if the contents of the audio are verified to be true, this would not only be a gross violation of personal and professional ethics but would also constitute a serious criminal offence and a complete betrayal of the public's trust in law enforcement.
Grewal strongly condemned the alleged actions, declaring that such behaviour is a stain on the dignity of the police force. He asserted that officers involved in such disgraceful conduct have no moral or legal right to continue serving in uniform.
According to him, these individuals are the black sheep of the system, responsible for tarnishing the image of the entire police department and undermining public confidence in the rule of law.
He firmly rejected the idea of any internal inquiry or behind-the-scenes transfers in this case, insisting instead on the immediate dismissal, arrest, and prosecution of the officer if the allegations are confirmed.

Grewal called upon the Punjab Government to stop protecting corrupt and immoral individuals within the system. He demanded decisive and transparent action from the authorities without delay.
In a direct appeal, he urged the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, and the Ministry of Home Affairs to intervene and take immediate cognizance of the matter. He stressed that the Government of India must ensure that stringent legal and departmental action is taken swiftly and effectively.
Expressing the sentiments of the public, Grewal said that the people of Punjab are no longer willing to tolerate men in uniform who exploit their position for personal misconduct. He warned that the public will not remain silent while the integrity of the police force is eroded by corruption and moral decay.
Reiterating his support for the people of Ludhiana, Grewal pledged to continue raising this issue relentlessly until appropriate action is taken and justice is delivered. He affirmed that he stands firmly with the citizens in their demand for accountability and ethical conduct in public service.
