Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader and former MP B Vinod Kumar raised strong objections to the removal of Telangana’s reservation quota in Sainik schools located in Andhra Pradesh.
He, further, warned the State and Central governments of legal action if the quota is not restored.
Kumar urged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to rush to Delhi and get the order reversed immediately.
Speaking at Telangana Bhavan, Kumar said about 67 per cent reservation was provided to students from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in Korukonda and Kalikiri Sainik schools, during admissions. “But now, the quota has been fully allocated to Andhra Pradesh. This is a grave injustice to Telangana students,” he added.

He criticised Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for inaction.
“What happened to the promise of a Sainik school in Bollaram? There is still not a single Sainik school in our State, while Andhra Pradesh has four,” Reddy added. He slammed Telangana’s Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party MPs, questioning their failure to raise their voice against such a grave injustice.
Vinod also said that the party supports Operation Sindoor and all decisive action against terrorism. “All the terror camps in Pakistan must be destroyed,” he asserted.
Former MLA Gongidi Sunitha, former MLC Pathuri Sudhakar Reddy and BRSV President Gellu Srinivas Yadav were also present.
