A shocking incident of kidnapping and assault on a businessman has been reported in Bhiwani, Haryana. The businessman, identified as Sunil Kokda, was allegedly kidnapped, beaten, and forced to transfer money. He is currently receiving medical treatment at Chaudhary Bansi Lal Civil Hospital in Bhiwani.
Bhiwani City Police Station Incharge Satyanarayan confirmed the incident, stating that the police received information about the kidnapping near Hanuman Gate. Upon learning about the crime, the police rushed to the location and began their investigation.
According to the complaint filed by Sunil Kokda, he was kidnapped late at night, held captive, and physically assaulted. During his captivity, the accused forced him to transfer money. Based on the complaint and statements from Sunil’s family, the police launched an investigation.
During the probe, the police checked the mobile phone of the main suspect, Hansraj alias Hansa. They discovered records of financial transactions linked to the case. This crucial evidence led to the arrest of Hansraj.
Further investigation revealed that while being held hostage, Sunil Kokda managed to escape from his captors and sought medical help at the civil hospital.
Police officials reported that Sunil Kokda sustained multiple injuries, including wounds on his head. When questioned, Sunil stated that he had no prior financial dealings or any kind of relationship with the accused.
Meanwhile, police records revealed that the accused, Hansraj alias Hansa, already has more than 20 criminal cases registered against him under various legal sections. The police are continuing their investigation to uncover more details about the incident and any possible involvement of other suspects.
