Punjab BJP leader and advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan has strongly condemned all activities connected to extremist propaganda networks. In a post on X, Grewal shared that the alleged criminal–gangster nexus has been exposed after a Khalistani-linked narco-terror operative was sentenced to 22 years in prison. The convict trafficked liquid methamphetamine hidden in beer cans from Canada to New Zealand. Grewal called it a serious threat to youth and global security.
Grewal said narco-terrorism and transnational crime were dangerous for society. He sought strict and transparent action against all those involved, including financiers and handlers. He said there should be no political protection for such elements.
He urged Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and agencies like the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Canadian Security Intelligence Service to ensure a thorough probe and accountability. He also appealed to New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and local police to dismantle such networks.
Grewal added that India must maintain zero tolerance. He urged Union ministers Amit Shah and S. Jaishankar, along with national agencies, to take strong action against all elements involved in narco-terrorism and transnational organised crime.
