The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday carried out raids across multiple districts in the Kashmir Valley as part of its ongoing investigation into a terror funding case, officials said.
The raids were conducted in three districts — Srinagar and Ganderbal in central Kashmir and Shopian in south Kashmir.
“CIK raids are currently underway in central Kashmir’s Srinagar and Ganderbal and south Kashmir’s Shopian districts,” officials said.
The action is part of the CIK’s probe into a recently registered terror-related case.
“The fresh searches were launched after a warrant was obtained from the court in a new investigation case registered at the CIK police station,” officials added, without giving further details.
Earlier, the CIK had raided the house of a businessman in north Kashmir’s Handwara area over his suspected involvement in the November 10 Red Fort explosion in New Delhi.
The agency has also conducted raids in parts of south Kashmir as part of its investigation into the alleged white-collar terror module busted in 2025 across Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, and Uttar Pradesh.
