Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday paid rich tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary, observed as Parakram Diwas. He remembered Netaji’s unmatched contribution to the nation and his role in India’s freedom struggle.
On the occasion, the chief minister offered floral tributes at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Park in Sector 3, Chandigarh. He said that Netaji’s courage, leadership, and sacrifice awakened the spirit of freedom among the people of India.
“The freedom gained by the nation is the outcome of the struggles and supreme sacrifices made by such revolutionaries,” Saini said. Recalling Netaji’s bravery, patriotism, and selflessness, Saini described his contribution to the freedom movement as unforgettable.
Saini said that Netaji’s ideals of national service, self-reliance, and firm resolve continue to inspire the country. He added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, these ideals are helping lay a strong foundation for a Viksit Bharat.
He further said that India is moving rapidly towards self-reliance, technological progress, and assuming a leadership role at the global level.
Calling upon the youth, Saini urged them to draw inspiration from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and actively participate in nation-building efforts to help realise the vision of India as a global leader.
On the occasion, he also extended warm greetings to the people of Haryana on the auspicious festival of Basant Panchami. He said the day inspires collective commitment and dedication towards nation-building.
