Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the Yamkeshwar region together, where they laid the foundation stone for various development projects at Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Government College. The visit focused on promoting education, infrastructure, and regional development in the area.

The programme began with both Chief Ministers offering prayers at the ancient Shiva temple in Yamkeshwar. They prayed for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the people and the country.

During the visit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath travelled to his ancestral village Panchur, where he took part in the Vishnu Mahayagya along with family members and local residents. Addressing the gathering, he thanked the temple committee and said the site, once known mainly as a place of faith, has now developed into a grand temple complex. He urged young people to adopt positive thinking, saying spirituality and devotion help individuals stay focused and achieve meaningful success in life.

Chief Minister Dhami praised Yogi Adityanath’s leadership and also mentioned the completion of one year of ‘Operation Sindoor’. Announcing development initiatives, Dhami said Bithyani College would be upgraded into an “Ideal College” and that construction of a mini stadium in the region would begin soon. He added that the government remains committed to strengthening education and sports infrastructure for youth.

Dhami said the state government aims to provide world-class educational and sporting facilities to young people. The college is being modernised with advanced and high-tech infrastructure. He also emphasised that welfare schemes are being implemented to ensure benefits reach every section of society.

At Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Government College in Bithyani, students welcomed both Chief Ministers with enthusiasm. The leaders paid floral tributes to the statue of Guru Gorakhnath. They also digitally launched the college’s AI-based website, while Trilok Chandra Sharma presented an overview of the platform and its academic functions.
