Shiromani Akali Dal takes a dig at the Central and Punjab governments asking do Punjabis need a visa to visit their national capital.
It is shocking to note that for almost a year, Punjabis have been denied permission to travel to Delhi via the Shambhu border, says SAD Chief Spokesman Advocate Arshdeep Singh Kler on Monday as he addressed the media.
Speaking related to the fast-unto-death, Jagjit Singh Dallewal, Kler said that besides the intervention of the Supreme Court of India, the Central government and Punjab's AAP ruling government failed to convince Dallewal to abort his fast which has been going on for 22 days.
Further slamming Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Akali leader says that Mann failed to take up the issues of farmers with the Centre and that it was his constitutional duty as the chief minister.
