Setback for the grand old party in Punjab, as dozens of Congress party workers of Vainpoin village in Khadoor Sahib Tehsil on Monday switched to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The Congress workers joined AAP in the presence of constituency MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura.  

MLA Lalpura said that all of the workers who switched to AAP will be given full respect, claiming that the Congress leaders are becoming turncoats as they are not respected by the grand old party fold. 

"The people of Punjab are very happy with the policy of Aam Aadmi Party and this time AAP will win 13 out of 13 seats in the Lok Sabha elections," MLA Lalpura stated.
