Heavy rainfall is likely to persist across parts of Himachal Pradesh, with the State Meteorological Centre issuing a yellow alert for eight districts on Saturday.
The alert covers Shimla, Kullu, Kangra, Mandi, Bilaspur, Kinnaur, Chamba, and Lahaul and Spiti districts.
The weather department has forecast light to moderate rainfall at isolated places in these districts. Thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds are also likely during the day.
According to the Meteorological Centre, minimum temperatures are expected to stay close to normal, with no major change anticipated.
Shimla recorded a minimum temperature of 18.4°C, while Dharamshala registered 20.5°C and Manali 17.2°C. Kangra recorded 21.8°C, Bilaspur 24°C, Hamirpur 25.9°C, Una 23.4°C, Nahan 22.7°C, Mandi 24.7°C, Solan 21°C, Bhuntar 20.1°C, Sundernagar 24.1°C, Keylong 12.2°C, Kufri 16.5°C and Paonta Sahib 27°C.
Kukumseri in Lahaul and Spiti remained the coldest place in the state, recording a minimum temperature of 11.2°C.
