Noted Film Director and Producer, Vivek Agnihotri will be the Brand Ambassador of Integrated Muscular Dystrophy Centre- Manav Mandir in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh.
His name was formally announced by Himachal Pradesh Governor, Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan. He congratulated Agnihotri on becoming the Brand Ambassador through video conferencing.
On this occasion, the patients suffering from muscular dystrophy were also present at Raj Bhavan.
The Governor expressed satisfaction that treatment of Muscular Dystrophy is being done through physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, yoga, pranayam and proper care using modern machines in this centre.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also specifically mentioned this centre in his 'Mann Ki Baat' program and had appreciated the services provided by the Centre.
Shukla expressed hope that with the involvement of Agnihotri, wide publicity of the Centre would be ensured. At the same time, more and more people would also come forward to make contributions by joining the centre. He also appealed to the people to come forward in the service of humanity by joining the centre and providing their valuable services.
Vivek Agnihotri thanked the Governor virtually and said that he was happy to join the Manav Mandir to perform a social role. He assured to contribute to the promotion of the centre.
