Police reported that a collision between a mini-truck and a trailer truck in Punjab's Faridkot district resulted in the death of five individuals and left an equal number injured on Friday.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
The incident transpired on the Kotkapura-Moga road when the mini-truck, carrying 10 passengers, collided with the trailer truck.
&nbsp;
Five people, including two women, died on the spot and the five people injured were taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.

A case has been registered and further investigation is underway, they said.&nbsp;
