In a heart-wrenching incident on Samana Road near Nassupur village, five school students lost their lives and one was critically injured after a tipper truck laden with sand collided with a private vehicle ferrying the children.

According to initial reports, the students were returning to Samana from their school in Patiala when the accident occurred.
