Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed grief over the demise of former chairman of Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (SJVNL) Nand Lal Sharma, who passed away at a hospital in Panchkula, Haryana, early Thursday morning due to brain stroke. He was 63.

 

Sharma, a native of Himachal Pradesh, was serving as the chairman of the Haryana State Electricity Regulatory Commission at the time of his death.

 

The Chief Minister said Nand Lal Sharma had served the people of Himachal Pradesh in various capacities and made significant contributions to their welfare. He also praised Sharma's role in strengthening SJVNL.

 

Sukhu prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
