The Goldy Brar gang has issued a chilling warning following the police encounter that claimed the lives of two men accused in the firing outside actor Disha Patani’s ancestral home in Bareilly.
Gang member Rohit Godara on Thursday described the slain men as “martyrs” and vowed that those responsible for their deaths “will not be forgiven, no matter how long it takes.”
“You shout about ‘Sanatan’ from one side of your mouth, and then the people who fight for Sanatan are killed. This is not fair,” Godara said in a post on Facebook. Calling the deaths a “huge loss,” he warned of retribution.
The statement came a day after the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force gunned down two accused — Ravindra, also known as Kullu, and Arun — during an encounter in Ghaziabad on September 17. Both men had been identified by investigators in connection with the September 12 firing outside Patani’s residence.

The Goldy Brar gang had earlier claimed responsibility for the shooting. Another member of the syndicate, Virendra Charan, had warned in a separate Facebook post that the actor had “hurt religious sentiments” and threatened consequences for anyone who disrespected their faith.
“Next time, if she or anyone else shows any disrespect towards our religion, we will not let them leave alive from their house,” Charan said. “This message is not only for her but also for all the film artists and people associated with her. If anyone does any such disrespectful act related to our religion and saints in the future, then be ready to face the consequences. We are ready to go to any extent to protect our religion. For us, religion and the whole society are always one, and protecting them is our first duty.”
The fresh threat underscores the volatile nature of the case, which has drawn widespread concern after gunmen fired outside Patani’s home. Police have tightened security around the actor’s family, even as the investigation expands into the gang’s wider network.a
