Four young men lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Haryana’s Panchkula district on Sunday. According to police reports, their car crashed into a stationary truck on the Panchkula-Shimla National Highway, leading to their immediate deaths.
The accident took place near Pinjore while the victims were returning from Himachal Pradesh. It is believed that the car was travelling at a high speed when the driver lost control and collided with the parked truck on the roadside.
A police official confirmed the incident, stating, "Four youths have died in the accident, which occurred on the Panchkula-Shimla National Highway." He further added that the bodies have been taken for post-mortem examination to determine any further details regarding the cause of death.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the accident, including whether factors such as poor visibility, speeding, or negligence played a role. The police have also informed the families of the deceased about the tragic incident.
This accident highlights the importance of road safety and caution, especially on highways where high speeds and unexpected obstacles can lead to fatal consequences.
