Eleven out of the 16 new Covid-19 cases reported in Haryana on Tuesday were from the districts of Gurugram and Faridabad, according to officials. Gurugram recorded six new cases, while Faridabad reported five. Karnal and Jhajjar registered two cases each, and one case was detected in Ambala.
The state's active caseload rose to 51, up from 44 the previous day. Gurugram leads with 17 active cases, followed by Faridabad (12), Karnal (11), Panchkula (4), Jhajjar and Ambala (3 each), and Sonipat (1). As of Tuesday, no Covid patients are currently hospitalised. On Monday, Haryana reported 18 cases, with most from Gurugram, Faridabad, and Karnal.
Health Minister Arti Singh Rao recently urged residents and health workers to stay vigilant, reiterating the government's commitment to safeguarding public health.
