Police on Friday said they have nabbed four members of the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar gang and recovered four foreign-made weapons from them.

The Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police identified the accused as Raman, Lokesh, Balraj alias Balram, and Ravinder Singh. All four are residents of Mundri village in Kaithal district. Police said they were reportedly involved in organised criminal activities linked to the United States.

The STF said Raman and Lokesh were held on January 10 along with arms and ammunition. Later, Balram and Ravinder Singh were arrested on January 14 from the Pundri Police Station area in Kaithal district.

During questioning, the accused told police that they were involved in serious organised crimes in the US. This included the murder of gangster Sunil Yadav in California in 2024, even though the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had earlier claimed responsibility for the killing.

Police said that in 2025, the accused also carried out a deadly attack on gangster Harry Boxer in the US. In that incident, one of their associates, Banwari

Godara, was killed on the spot, while another associate suffered gunshot injuries. The STF said the attack was linked to growing internal rivalry within the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

According to investigators, the accused were actively running extortion rackets for the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar gang. They were also involved in planning and carrying out firing incidents targeting businessmen and civilians in Haryana, Delhi, Punjab, and Rajasthan.

“Interpol and the concerned authorities in the United States will be informed about the developments in this case to ensure proper legal and investigative coordination,” the STF said.

B Satheesh Balan, IG of Haryana STF, said the case has serious national and international security implications. He stressed that close cooperation between agencies is necessary for effective prosecution, further investigation, and prevention of cross-border criminal activities.
