The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday adjourned Shiromani Akali Dal leader HC Majithia bail deferred Nov 10 to Monday, granting no interim relief after extensive arguments from both sides.

 

The bench heard detailed submissions but reserved any order, listing the matter for November 10 when a decision on bail is expected.

 

Majithia was arrested by the Punjab Vigilance Bureau on June 25 from his Amritsar residence in a disproportionate-assets case and has been lodged in Nabha Jail since his arrest.

 

The bail plea will be taken up again on Monday, when the court may pronounce its decision based on Friday’s arguments.
