The Karnataka High Court on Thursday issued notices to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, his wife Parvathi B M, the Lokayukta police and the Enforcement Directorate over the closure report filed in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) site allotment case.
Justice S Sunil Dutt Yadav passed the order while hearing a petition filed by activist Snehamayi Krishna challenging the B-Report submitted by the Lokayukta police, which had given a clean chit to the accused.
The court sought responses from all parties on the closure report, keeping the matter under judicial scrutiny.
The case pertains to alleged irregularities in the allotment of compensatory plots by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority to Parvathi in an upscale area of Mysuru. The allotment was made under a 50:50 scheme, under which landowners receive 50 per cent of developed land in exchange for land acquired for residential layouts.

According to the allegations, the plots allotted to Parvathi were in a higher-value locality compared to the original land that had been acquired by MUDA.
The Lokayukta police had earlier registered a case against Siddaramaiah, his wife and his brother-in-law in connection with the allotment. However, after investigation, the agency filed a closure report, effectively giving them a clean chit.
The Special Court designated to try cases involving public representatives had accepted the closure report on January 28.
The petitioner has challenged this conclusion, seeking further examination of the findings and the circumstances surrounding the allotment.
With the High Court now issuing notices, the matter is set to undergo fresh legal scrutiny, with responses from the state’s anti-corruption body and central enforcement agency expected in due course.
