Heavy rain continues in Rajasthan, Dausa records 101 mm

Monsoon may once again gain strength in the state next week, with heavy showers in several districts, the weather office added.


Rainfall continued to affect parts of Rajasthan, with Rahuvas in Dausa district registering the highest amount of precipitation at 101 mm, according to the Meteorological Centre Jaipur.

 

Over the past 24 hours, up to 8.30 am on Saturday, rain accompanied by thunderstorms was reported across various regions of the state.

 

Significant rainfall was recorded in Dausa and Jhalawar districts, while Churu, Ganganagar, Barmer, Jaipur, Dholpur, and Karauli experienced light to moderate showers.

 

The Meteorological Centre indicated that the monsoon could strengthen again next week, bringing heavy rain to several districts across the state.
