Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri have expressed deep sorrow over the death of Army personnel in an accident in Galwan Valley in Ladakh, where their vehicle was struck by a massive boulder.
In the tragic incident, Lt Col Bhanu Pratap Singh Mankotia from Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, and Lance Dafadar Daljit Singh from Gurdaspur, Punjab, lost their lives and three other soldiers were seriously injured.
Calling it an irreparable loss for the entire country, the Chief Minister paid heartfelt tributes to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
The Deputy Chief Minister said the country will always remember the courage and dedication of these soldiers. He offered his deepest condolences to their grieving families.
Both leaders prayed for peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families. They also wished a swift and full recovery for the injured Army personnel.
