Himachal Pradesh is expected to receive another spell of rain in some areas on Wednesday.
According to the state Meteorological Department, light rainfall is expected in isolated parts of Shimla, Kangra, Mandi, and Sirmaur districts. After this, dry weather is expected across the state from September 25 to 29. Despite the rain, maximum and minimum temperatures will remain normal during this period.
The Weather Department noted that conditions are becoming favorable for the further withdrawal of the southwest monsoon from more parts of Himachal Pradesh and several other states in the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, a few areas of the state received light rain over the past 24 hours, while most parts saw dry weather.
The minimum temperatures across the state were 3°C to 7°C above normal, ranging from 7°C to 25°C. Similarly, maximum temperatures were 2°C to 3°C above normal, ranging between 19°C and 36°C. Shimla recorded a maximum of 25°C, Dharamsala 28°C, and Manali 26.8°C.
