Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda stated that the BJP government’s failure has once again been exposed in the High Court, as it has yet to finalise the CET rules even after many years, let alone start recruitment or conduct the CET exam.
The High Court has now officially directed the government to finalise the rules. If this is not done, the court has issued a strict warning that either the Chief Minister or the Chairman of the Commission must appear in person.
Hooda stated that after coming to power for the third time by making false promises to the people of the state, the BJP government has once again begun jeopardising the future of unemployed youth. Despite several months passing, there is still no visible progress in preparing for the Common Eligibility Test for Group C and D recruitment.
“This government has done the biggest fraud with lakhs of youth who have been waiting for CET for years. As per the rules, CET should be held once every 6 months or within 1 year, but BJP is barely able to conduct this test once in 5 years,” he stated.
Former Chief Minister Hooda said the same game was played by BJP during the last tenure as well, as the government deliberately kept the recruitments hanging for the entire 5 years and then blackmailed the youth in the elections by saying that the result of their recruitments will be released only if BJP comes to power.
“Out of fear, unemployed youth voted for BJP, but as soon as it came to power, the government again started adopting tricks to hang the recruitments,” he stated.
Not only this, BJP came to power by promising to give ₹ 9000 per month to CET pass youth, but this promise too proved to be false. There is no mention of giving Rs 9000 monthly to CET youth who pass anywhere in this budget, he added.
Hooda has said rigging and delay in the name of recruitments has become the new rule under this government. “Due to this, last month itself, the High Court had imposed a fine of ₹ 50,000 on Haryana Staff Selection Commission. In the TGT recruitment case, showing the mirror to the government, the High Court had clearly raised a questions on the qualification of the examiners.
Even before this, the court has fined and reprimanded the government several times for recruitment scams. “This is the same government due to which countless paper leaks and recruitment scams have come to light. Crores of Rupees were recovered from an officer sitting in the Haryana Public Service Commission and people sitting in the Haryana Staff Selection Commission were caught selling jobs,” he said.
“Despite this, the government's investigation in any case did not reach a conclusive end. No action of any kind was taken against the people sitting in high positions who did fraud in the name of recruitment. It is clear from this that the government itself is engaged in keeping the recruitments hanging, rigging them and protecting the scamsters,” the former Chief Minister added.
