In a bid to soothe the ruffled feelings of three cabinet ministers after one each of their portfolios was allotted to the two newly inducted ministers in Himachal Pradesh last month, Chief Minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today shuffled the portfolios again.
As per a government notification, Industries Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan, who lost the Ayush department, has now been given Labour and Employment in addition to Industries and Parliamentary Affairs.
Public Works Department (PWD) minister, Vikramaditya Singh has also been allotted the Urban Development department. He was earlier holding PWD and Youth Services and Sports. However, Youth Services and Sports was given to the new minister Yadvendra Goma last month.
Education minister, Rohit Thakur has now been allotted Printing and Stationery instead of Technical Education, which was allotted to Rajesh Dharmani last month.
In the new arrangement, Dharmani is now the Town and Country Planning minister, holding Housing, Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training as well.
