Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri called on the people of the state to come together and fight against the drug mafia. He warned that strict action would be taken against those selling 'Chitta' (a synthetic drug).
Agnihotri urged every family to take a stand and raise their voices against drug dealers. He also informed that people who provide reliable information about drug networks could receive rewards.
"We are not afraid of these mafias, and we will not let them destroy our state. We will spread awareness and protect Himachal, also known as 'Devbhumi' (Land of the Gods)," he said. He assured that any attempt by drug dealers to expand their activities would be met with firm action.
He further stated that those who actively help in identifying and reporting drug peddlers would be remembered as the true well-wishers of the state.

Emphasising the seriousness of the issue, Agnihotri clarified that drug addiction is not a political matter but a major challenge that requires collective efforts to eliminate the drug mafia from Himachal Pradesh.
