<div>He called on the Chief Minister on Saturday and presented flowers of 'Kachnar' as a gesture of appreciation for the government&rsquo;s initiatives.</div>

<div>Sukhu said that the state government is consistently working towards strengthening the rural economy. He said that the procurement price of cow milk has been increased to Rs 61 per litre and buffalo milk to Rs 71 per litre. Additionally, financial assistance for transporting milk to collection centres has been enhanced from Rs 3 to Rs 6 per litre.</div>

<div>The Chief Minister said that the minimum support price for naturally grown crops has been significantly enhanced for wheat and barley to Rs 80 per kilogram, maize to Rs. 50 per kilogram, and turmeric to Rs. 150 per kilogram. Ginger has been included under MSP for the first time at Rs. 30 per kilogram to benefit the farmers.</div>

<div>He stated that a milk processing plant is being established at Dhagwar in Kangra district with an investment of Rs 200 crore.</div>
